Hi, I’m Jhulian Ybanez, also known as “JhulzPulls” on social media. I’ve been passionate about powerlifting for over five years, representing Guam in competitions across the globe, from Los Angeles and Las Vegas to Seoul, South Korea. I’ve been fortunate to earn podium finishes in every meet I’ve entered, competing in both the Junior and Men’s Open Divisions. Beyond my personal journey, I’m deeply committed to growing the powerlifting community here on Guam. I volunteer my time to create opportunities for local athletes and promote a culture of fair and disciplined competition. As one of Guam’s first certified United States Powerlifting (USAPL) referees and a recently certified International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA) Powerlifting Specialist, I’m dedicated to sharing my knowledge and expertise.
